Summit County, home to the Town of Breckenridge, Keystone Resort, Frisco, Silverthorne, Dillon, and Copper Mountain Resort, is known as Colorado's Playground. Skiing, hiking, biking, sailing, climbing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling are just a few of the activities for kids of all ages to enjoy when playing here in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. Not only is Summit County fun, it is beautiful as well. My favorite part of living here is driving along and seeing snow-capped mountains reflected in Lake Dillon or admiring the wildflowers that grow so abundantly in our area.
The climate provides for perfect snow conditions in the winter and mildly refreshing weather in the summer. Each town in Summit County offers visitors and locals alike a little something different. No matter your pleasure, you will come to love Summit County as well.
