Breckenridge Restaurants

Part of what makes Breckenridge such a great place to be is the variety of locally run restaurants. This town is home to all types of cuisine from Thai to Italian to French. Breckenridge has a restaurant for every taste bud and every occasion. Here are my favorite restaurants-A taste of what Breckenridge has to offer!

The Cellar 200 South Ridge Street
One of the newer restaurants in town, The Cellar provides a delicious treat for wine and food lovers. Offering one of the best wine lists in the county and a unique dining experience, this is a restaurant not to be missed. The menu is small plate dining which gives guests a chance to taste all of the interesting flavor combinations The Cellar has to offer. The bar at the Cellar offers the wine list plus fine liquors and an upscale scene.

My Thai 500 South Main Street
My Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in town due to its unique cuisine and friendly atmosphere. Breckenridge's only Thai restaurant, My Thai has Pad Thai, curry dishes, and delicious appetizers such as fresh rolls and thai crab cakes. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary, this is my top suggestion.

Blue River Bistro 305 North Main Street
Blue River Bistro is known for having one of the best happy hours in town. Their delicious martinis (the largest martini menu in the county) and fabulous appetizers are half priced for an early and a late happy hour. Their dinner menu is a great mix of American favorites and interesting Italian fusions. There is live music a few days a week which is why this restaurant is one of my favorites.

Giampietros 100 North Main Street
There are plenty of pizza and Italian places in town but this little nook of a restaurant is one of my favorite places to eat in town. The pizza and calzones are by far the closest thing to a New York taste I have found and their pasta dishes are delicious. Fast and friendly service only adds to the great experience. Try this one out while shopping around town.

The Swiss Haven 325 South Main Street
For a dining experience out of the ordinary, visit the only Swiss restaurant in town. The Swiss Haven has delicious salads, extraordinary fondue, and fabulous raclette. It's a fun dining experience where you can cook your own food and the deserts, as you can imagine, are delicious. Moderately priced, this is a great restaurant for a large family or group who are looking for something new to do!
